Incap and the Assa Abloy Group have signed a new co-operation agreement that gives Incap the status of a global supplier in the Assa Abloy Group. The co-operation agreement covers the volume production of electronics and mechanical fabrication, as well as design, manufacturability, the production of pilot series and final assembly.
Incap and Abloy Oy have already been in close co-operation for about twenty years. Now Incap has received the status of an approved supplier with other companies in the Assa Abloy Group as well, a fact that will provide Incap with new opportunities to increase co-operation with the customer.
The first product to be supplied under the new agreement is a programming device for electronic lock systems, the newest version of which has been redesigned by Incap in co-operation with Solid AB. The product will be manufactured at Incap’s Vuokatti factory, from where it will be delivered in the customer’s packaging directly to Assa Abloy’s units and customers in Finland, Sweden, Germany, France and Israel.
“At Incap, we are aiming for growth in net turnover primarily with our present strategic customers. The renewal of the co-operation agreement is another step towards a deeper partnership between Assa Abloy and Incap. We aim to proceed in the same direction with our other key customers as well,” says Petri Saari, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Incap.
