INCAP’S NEW FACTORY IN ESTONIA IS NOW IN USE
Press release, 24 July 2006
The new factory building in Kuressaare is now ready and the first deliveries from the new premises took place last week.
The building has about 3,700 square metres of total floor space and it triples the size of Incap’s previous production facilities in Kuressaare.
Thanks to the increased production space, the technology and capacity of the unit can be raised to a level that corresponds with demand. The increase in the manufacturing capacity provides a solid foundation for revenue growth and acquisition of new customers in Scandinavia and central Europe.
The new factory’s capacity includes assembly lines, manual assembly working cells and other PCB assembly equipment moved from the old premises. The installation of the recently acquired new SMD assembly line is going on.
The old premises will be used for box-build production as well as for training of new employees. Today Incap employs in Kuressaare 125 persons.
The new factory building is designed for expansion later on up to about 7,000 square metres.
